This Saturday 21st May is Ladies Day 2016, set to be a cracking day with the Dukes coming up against the Manly Savers. Ladies Day is a long standing tradition of the Club, a day where we celebrate the women who both directly and indirectly contribute to the success of the Club.
A bold new drink choice will be added to the menu for the day, with champage available for all ladies. Following the game, everyone is invited back to our pub, The Captain Cook Hotel, for speeches, the boat race and an evening of karaoke.
The Dukes are taking this opportunity to raise funds for the Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA). The BCNA provides support, information, treatment and care to those who suffer breast cancer. On the day, the Dukes will be wearing pink socks. A portion of food and drink proceeds from the day will be donated to the BCNA, as well as any contributions which spectators wish to make on the day.
Ladies Day is an excellent opportunity for members and supporters of the Club to contribute to a very worthwhile cause which affects so many women and families across Australia. We hope to see everyone at the game in their best pink gear.
